FLETISH

On Saturday evening, October 12, 2019, FLETISH was born. I collaborated with Olive Hui and Kseniya Ovchinnikova, creating a site-reactive installation featuring seven performers at a private studio in Manhattan. FLETISH was a living and breathing feminine experience, exposing an impression of our own stigma. The shapes embodied a compulsion to leave a mark. Something inside us integrated with that mark, recognizing it in ourselves and in the voyeurism of this vulnerable poetic act. FLETISH included installation, performance, painting, sculpture, sound, scent, taste and interaction.
